TECHNICANS & ENGINEERS

Our skilled TECHNICIANS, ENGINEERS and management team have years of experience in various electronic and mechanical assembly sectors. Most are trained to IPC-A-610 standards or have extensive engineering or mechanical backgrounds. Training records are kept and updated, and all staff are part of a continuous improvement programme and know the difference between "tight and too-tight" or "slight pressure and force".
Many of our customers’ products are used globally, in remote fields to the glaciers of Antarctica, in hospital rooms or maybe even a supermarket near you.

QUALITY BUILT IN

CableTronic's procedures and processes are monitored by ISO- and "UL-accredited" bodies. Continuous internal and external audits ensure 100% compliance with our customers' drawings, bills of materials, parts lists, and instructions. Full traceability of parts from supplier to product is maintained using our Cim50 MRP manufacturing software, and all Labour and Tooling are recorded and kept on file for historical reference. A QDIP system is often employed for larger projects. Inspections occur throughout the assembly process from Goods-In to dispatch, with line/cell spot checks when required.

OUR WORKSHOP

Our WORKSHOP is divided into halves: one designed for more cell-like products, generally of a higher value with lower run rates. The other is for flowline production, usually small to medium-sized units higher in quantity. Both are designed with plenty of shelve space for either parts procured and kitted In-house or materials free issued by our customers. We strongly believe in lean manufacturing practices, so only the tools, parts and documentation required to complete each job should be held in each assembly area. With that said, some consumables and everyday items are never more than an arm's length away. All perishable items are recorded, and expiry dates are closely monitored. Hazardous materials or waste products are stored and disposed of safely and appropriately.
