CableTronics IPC/WHMA-A-620 trained technicians can provide wires cut, stripped or tinned, small production runs, or high-volume, heavy-duty CUSTOM and BESPOKE cable assemblies, forms, and looms. From components procured by our in-house purchasing team or your free-issued materials. Our ISO and "UL" certifications and various automated equipment ensure 100% repeatability and reliability.

Automated testing facilities and batch control ensure all components, tooling, and labour are traceable back to their source, and every cable is 100% electrically tested.

WIRING LOOMS AND HARNESSES

Our cables range from a few millimetres to more than 20 meters long, from a single wire to complex LOOMS & HARNESSES with numerous breakouts, sleeving and identification methods. Applications include solar, renewables, recycling, military, NHS, commercial, traffic management, automotive, scientific, telecommunication, aerospace and pharmaceutical equipment, to mention just a few.

CONDUITS AND UMBILCALS

We make CONDUITS and UMBILICALS for products that require interconnection between enclosures, are mobile or used in harsh environments. Not just cables but tubes and hoses carrying fluid, air, or gasses that may require additional protection. Some CONDUITS consist of one or two wires in areas that need additional safeguarding. UMBILICALS can carry signal, power, and networking cables, tubes, and hoses of various complexities and lengths. With our years of experience, we have devised unique ways to make such assemblies. Ensuring wire and cable terminations remain un-damaged and tubing and hoses are not squashed or kinked in any way.

Quality Control

All cables are 100% electrically inspected and visually checked before dispatch. Our ISO and "UL" certifications give you confidence that full traceability is maintained throughout the assembly process. Most of our Technicians are trained to recognise and work to IPC/WHMA-A-620 cabling standards. Inspections occur throughout the assembly process from Goods-In to dispatch, with line/cell spot checks carried out if required. This reduces the chance of costly returns and maintenance issues from failures in the field.

Our Workshop

We have a fully-equipped workshop and cable manufacturing facility in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Our specialised cable assembly equipment includes many automated crimping and wire preparation machines, ensuring that efficiency and quality are never compromised. Benches are laid out and designed for cable assembly work. All perishable items are recorded, and expiry dates are closely monitored. Hazardous materials or waste products are stored and disposed of safely and appropriately. Representatives ensure all matters relating to Health & Safety are brought to the management's attention immediately.
