CableTronics constructs Panels and Control Boxes of varying complexity and sizes. Many must meet strict CE or UL regulations or comply with intrinsically safe standards. Others just a few components and a piece of DIN rail. Panel and cabinet building is about more than just the wiring. It often starts with machining and mechanical construction. Then, component placement, mounting and labelling. Followed by point-to-point and internal and external wiring. Finally, programming, set-up and test.

PANEL WIRING

At CableTroncs, meticulous attention is given to every production stage. Nothing is ever forced or strained; fasteners are correctly tightened, and exposed live components are always shrouded. Each wire is carefully labelled to identify every connection with enough excess left for re-work. Wiring is always neatly arranged. Components and graphic symbols can be identified with colour-coordinated labels or nameplates if required.

PANEL TESTING

CableTronic's procedures and processes are monitored by ISO and "UL" accredited bodies. Continuous internal and external audits ensure 100% compliance with our customer's drawings, bills of materials, parts list and instructions. Full traceability of parts from supplier to product is maintained using our Cim50 MRP manufacturing software, and all Labour and Tooling are recorded and kept on file for historical reference. Various continuous improvement programmes are implemented as part of our quality system. A QDIP system is often employed for larger assembly projects. Inspections occur throughout the assembly process from Goods-In to dispatch, with line/cell spot checks when and where required.
